In the 18th Century a variety of companies produced porcelain Pug figurines. On many of these figurines the Pugs wore bell collars. I am fascinated with this--so I bring to you my 21st Century version of the 18th Century Pug bell collar for today's fashionable Pugs to wear. I am proud to share with you "The Skippy Wu". Each pug bell collar is made from beautiful brocade satin fabric and is adorned with five bells. All collars are made to fit any neck size and are not adjustable. In keeping with the Victorian Pug Bell collar style, all Skippy Wu 21st Century collars are available in one inch width only.
The Skippy Wu is named after our very own spokes pug Skippy Wu of Pugsley Tugboat. Wu is the Chinese word for the number five. Skippy was a birthday present for my daughter, McKenna, when she turned five years old.
I believe these collars will look amazing for the special occasions you and your pug attend. Plus they will look beautiful in the photographs you take or have a professional pet photographer take. Enjoy!
Note: I have taken an extra step to ensure that each bell is professionally attached in a very secure manner. No metal touches your pug's neck, only the brocade satin does. Believe me, these collars are a labor of love. Nothing but the best for our pugs!
